If you are looking primarily for a show-quality dog, I am not the breeder for you, as I breed "working" whippets for amateur racing and coursing. They make equally wonderful pets and are conformationally correct, sound, and attractive, but they rarely excel in the show ring. Many people with performance-bred dogs DO show for fun, and while my dogs are not bred for show, they are eligible to be shown (no disqualifying faults and registered with AKC).
We do have many wins on the amateur race track including #1 and #6 NOTRA dog for 2007, #3 and #11 NAWRA dog for 2007, #1 OTR whippet for 2007, winner of the 2007 NOTRA Nationals and the 2007 Eastern Whippet Derby as well as numerous meet wins on sprint and oval tracks. QuiXand dogs also have BOB wins in lure coursing including the 2006 II, NOFCA hunt wins, and QuiXand dogs won the 2005 and 2006 WWWA Northwest Versatility Weekend which includes a fun match, sprint and oval racing and ASFA lure coursing.
