February has been an exciting month at Nekatzuki.

[PHOTO:0010] 2/1/09 Daku attains his championship with back to back wins at Packerland Kennel Club in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This boy has been a dream come true here at Nekatzuki. With a sound temperament and gorgeous breed type, we expect he will form the foundation of our breeding program for many years to come.

2/11/09 Hanako goes on the road with our friend and mentor Tammy Szabo. With nine shows entered, over the coarse of three weeks, we did not expect Hanako home until sometime in early March. Imagine our surprise when Tammy called us on Valentine's Day morning to report that Hanako had finished her championship that morning with a 5 point major and best of opposite sex! We were happy to welcome her home early, and let her retire to our couch.

2/12/09 With both his father and mother now champions, we brought Spanky - now called Cubbie, back home to Nekatzuki to train him for a show on March 1. This boy has grown into a handsome young pup, and should finish without much difficulty.

As we end the month with a chance to see Cubbie and his litter brother, Maybe, side by side, we can see that Maybe IS going to be large enough to show. We continue to offer him for sale, but will show him until he finds his forever home.

We are really looking forward to the months ahead, and showing our "next generation" here at Nekatzuki.
