I prefer homes where my babies will be used as service or full time companion animals/pets. But am very happy to place my babies in excellent homes as well, and folks who will consider showing etc., with good open introductory dialogue with me. What are you looking for your Mastiff to be/do?

Briefly describe your family unit.. ie.. life partner, children, roommates.. and where you fall in. Are you head of household, child, pet? *s*

If you are planning on your new Mastiff as a service animal, please describe how they will serve? For you? As a convalescence visiting animal, a disAbled person's companion?

When you are dressing to go out, and your new best friend (Mastiff puppy) deposits what I affectionally call "gloobs" (slobber) on your silk black trousers.. issue or non issue? And, how will you handle it?
|
|
*
Tell me a little about your nutritional plan for your Mastiff puppy. (This is not a test question, there are many schools of thought, each with great merit)

Why did you choose Olde English Mastiff's?

Are you prepared for the likelihood of your new Mastiff stealing your supper off the table, because they are tall enough? ;) Actually the question is, what sort of training are you planning on implementing? Formal obedience? You have had three hundred dogs, and know what you are doing? Showmanship? Agility? Slalom? Minimal training, you just want a big slobbery pet? ;)

If you answer yes to the above question about having children, how old are they, are they (generally) good with pets, and have they ever been bitten by dogs?

Mastiff's tend to be a bit "emotionally needy". Not that they are going to be stealing your tissue box during Terms of Endearment, but they are very sensitive to your body language and moods. Tell me a bit about your demeanor, are you hot under the collar after a bad day, or a big bowl of jello in a crisis?
|
|
*
Tell me about your living space? Do you live in the country on a farm, in a white-picket-fenced 'hood, in a Park Avenue Penthouse?

Thank you for filling out this application, and your interest in my babies. If you are a Mastiff lover, or are looking to be, this is an amazing ride, and there is nothing like it! Unconditional love and acceptance in a big, warm, gloobery package! I look forward to visiting with you!
