This Shih Tzu puppy is being sold as a pet and companion pup. It is understood that at time of sale, this puppy is NOT show quality, but is representative of the breed standard and is structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion. Spay/neuter is required. Pups will be provided with AKC Non Breeding Dog Limited Registration. If breeding rights are wanted, that is to be negotiated for an additional fee of $500 to experienced or pre-approved buyers.
Shots/Worming: 1st shot (DHPP) will be given at 7 weeks. Next DHLPP (Parvo combo) is due three weeks after; at that time your vet set you up on a schedule with Rabies being administered at 4 months. Pup will wormed 3 times with Nemex 2 wormer and/or Panacur or equivalent.
HEALTH GUARANTEE: This pup is guaranteed up to its second birthday against any genetic hereditary defect that develops to the extend it renders the dog unsuitable as a pet. If a defect is found, send or fax a vet's certificate stating the defect and fees charged in relation to the defect. I have the option of requiring a second opinion of the diaqnosis by my vet to confirm the defect. OFA Patellas must be Grade 2 or higher for refund. At that time, I will replace your pup with one of equal value on the next available litter, usually within a year or a reasonable monetary settlement based on vet bills can be negotiated.
THE GENETIC HEALTH GUARANTEE COVERS GENETIC HEREDITARY DEFECTS. It does not cover hernias, pinched nostrils, hypoglycemia, or communicable diseases such as Parvo, Coccidia, Giardia, Distemper, or Rabies, etc. I DO NOT GUARANTEE AGAINST COMMUNICABLE DISEASES SUCH AS PARVO, COCCIDIA, GIARDIA DISTEMPER, RABIES, ETC. BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR PUP UNTIL IT'S FULLY IMMUNIZED AGAINST THESE TYPES OF DISEASES. Please remember that your new puppy is a baby and their immune systems are immature at the time of transfer to a new home. Stress can contribute to loose stools, and/or a Coccidia or Giardia outbreak, which are very common in young puppies and dogs. We have taken proactive steps to try to minimize this in our pups.
