Each puppy is sold in good faith. All puppies have been vet checked prior leaving for their new home. No dog is guaranteed for size, breeding, or performance. We know we have done our best in raising these youngsters and we back our puppies with these comprehensive agreements:
I agree to have my puppy examined by a licensed vet within 72 hrs after picking puppy up. If puppy becomes ill prior to 72 hrs. I agree to seek emergency vet care & contact the breeder immediately. If an parasites or bacterial infection as been found upon 1st visit, you must contact the breeder, within 24 hrs. We will reimburse only what has been tested positive upon the 1st visit. To receive a refund upon this matter, we request : all invoices, along with a written & dated statement from my vet regarding the problem. The breeder reserves the right to have the puppy examined by his or her own vet for second opinion in which case the seller’s veterinarians findings will prevail. This excludes any and all Genetic Guarantees to be offered separately. The puppy may be replaced with another puppy of equal value as soon as replacement is available. Transportation cost of the replacement puppy is the responsibility of the buyer. If this option is not taken in allotted time there will be no replacement for any reason & will result in the cancellation of this guarantee. Under no circumstances may the puppy be euthanized , turned over to dog pound or like facility, or any other persons unless given written consent from the breeder. This warranty does not cover any positive results past the 1st 72 hrs, or any preventable diseases, including parasites such as: worms, mites, fleas, ticks, or any other environmental ailments that can be physically picked up on trips, as well as heat or stress related conditions or any other conditions preventable by the Buyer.
If your veterinarian states that your puppy has any problem that makes it a poor health risk, you may, within 2 days of purchase, return the puppy. [ along with the original registration papers ] A written (original), signed, and dated statement ,from your veterinarian. We also require a detailing the description of symptoms supporting his/her opinion and an explanation as to why this puppy would be in poor health risk. The puppy will be taken to the breeder’s veterinarian for a second opinion. Once a decision has been made a refund will be reimbursed accordingly. This exam and all associated costs are at the buyer’s responsibility.
The buyer shall provide the dog with veterinary care upon sickness, disease, or injury, and shall take it to the veterinarian at least once a year for an annual health examination and routine vaccinations.
The dog shall not be kept chained or constantly outdoors.
The dog shall reside at the Buyer’s address.
If the dog cannot be kept by the Buyer, the Buyer shall notify the breeder immediately. The dog shall not be sold , transferred , or given to any individual or to any retail or wholesale establishment for the purpose of sale or resale to the public, nor to any research institution where medical experimentation or other practices take place.
The buyer and the breeder agree to keep each other informed of their current address.
VACCINATIONS
I have been given records of any vaccinations, wormings and medications that this puppy may have had. Puppies vaccinations include : Coronavirus, Distemper, Adenovirus type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus. Rabies are to be given by your vets recommendation only.
I understand these are given as preventives against disease, and parasites they are not guaranteed to cure or prevent the above listed conditions unless follow up with the needed treatments with my vet.
Worm your dog monthly!
It is also very important to set your puppy up with a vet for any follow up health issues. Each year your dog is required to have an Annual Check-ups along with Booster Vaccinations. Any sicknesses occurring after the dog is picked up, may not be used to replace this dog. Keep your dog away from sick persons or other dogs, until all shots are given up to date (14 wks. of age, for best protection).
I have read, received, signed, & understand and accept the responsibility of caring for a puppy. The buyer is responsible for any vet bills incurred while puppy is in their possession. This agreement is a legal instrument in Muskingum county, Ohio & buyer agrees that he/she has read & understands this agreement & no guarantee or warranties have been made either expressed of implied by the breeder or their representatives .There is no binding amendments unless in writing.
