CONTRACT FOR A PET DOG/PUPPY Page 1 of 2
It is understood that Larapinta is a hobby kennel that only breeds for one or two litters per year.
This agreement is made and entered into this 9th day of December 2010 by and between Mary Kowalczyk (Seller), of Larapinta Australian Shepherds, and____________________________________ (Buyer), for the purpose of setting forth the terms and conditions of purchase by the Buyer of a purebred_Australian Shepherd from the litter whelped on date___________out of "CKC, Int'l CH, Broken Tree in the Eye of the Storm" X "Blueskies Latte' 3X Hot, RN". The Australian Shepherd puppy above-described is a Black female with Copper and White markings.

For $__850.00__, the seller agrees to sell and the buyer agrees to purchase a female, companion puppy from the litter described above subject to the following terms.
1. Seller warrants that the above described puppy/dog is a purebred __Australian Shepherd register-able with the American Kennel Club and that registration application papers will be available when puppy is delivered or mailed immediately to the Buyer when available after completed purchase.
Seller warrants that the above-described puppy/dog is in good health at the time Buyer assumes ownership. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within (3) days (not including weekends and holidays) of receipt of puppy/dog.
Seller further warrants that the above described puppy/dog will be free of hereditary eye disease or hip dysplaisia to the age of 2yrs 2months.
If, as a result of the initial examination, the Veterinarian determines that the puppy/dog is not in good health within three days of purchase the Buyer shall elect to keep the puppy/dog or return the puppy/dog to the Seller for a refund. If the buyer elects to return the puppy, Buyer shall, within 10 days after the date of the signing of this contract, send to Seller by certified mail a written Veterinarian's certificate stating that the puppy/dog was in ill health when examined. Buyer reserves the right to have the puppy/dog examined by her vet to confirm the diagnosis.
Upon receipt of the puppy/dog, the Seller shall be obligated to refund all monies received from Buyer toward the purchase price of the puppy/dog, and further performance under this contract shall be null and void. Puppy shall be returned in the condition in which it was received. Upon receipt by Seller of said certificate, Buyer shall be obligated to return the puppy/dog to Sellers at Buyers expense.
If the above mentioned dog is diagnosed with a hereditary eye disease or hip dysplasia by the age of 2 years 2 months, the seller will, upon receipt of written veterinarian certificate indicating that the above dog has been found to have a hereditary eye disease or hip dysplasia, the buyer may return the dog and will be eligible for a different puppy at the earliest time one becomes available.
This puppy is sold as a pet and not as a breeding animal. The AKC registration papers will be marked as LIMITED registration indicating that any offspring from this dog will not be register-able with AKC. It is understood that this puppy/dog will be spayed and neutered by the age of 1 year.
