Thank you for purchasing a collie puppy from us!
The following are the terms and conditions of the sale:
Your puppy is in excellent health and is up to date on shots and wormings at the time of sale. Please take your new puppy to your vet within the first week. You may return your puppy to us FOR ANY REASON for two weeks after the date of purchase, for a full refund of the purchase price.
Your puppy has had a CERF eye exam and was found to be normal eyed for CEA. A copy of your puppy’s CERF exam, along with an AKC limited registration application, puppy’s pedigree, and puppy’s health record, will be provided along with your puppy.
Your puppy is being purchased as a family pet only, not for breeding. He can be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) on a limited registration certificate. With limited registration, your puppy may compete in AKC performance events such as obedience, agility, and herding trials. We encourage you to try some of these activities! We will refund $50 of your puppy’s purchase price for every AKC title your puppy obtains.
With limited registration your puppy may not compete in the conformation ring. AKC limited registration also means that any offspring of your dog cannot be registered with the AKC.
We have done our best to ensure the genetic health of your puppy. However, we do offer a five-year guarantee against serious genetic diseases and conditions. If your puppy develops a serious genetic disease or condition during his first five years of life, please let us know immediately, and we will either refund the purchase price of your puppy; provide a replacement puppy; or help with the costs of treatment (up to the purchase price of the puppy). Which of these options we choose will depend on the severity of the condition and on how you want to handle the situation. We do not require that you return your puppy to us in order to receive a refund, but we will always take your puppy back if you feel that you can no longer care for him.
If at any time during the lifetime of your dog, you find that you are no longer able to keep him or give him the quality of care he deserves, please let us know so that we can either take him back or assist you in finding him a new home. Please do not give your collie away or take him to an animal shelter or rescue organization.
We enjoy staying in touch with our new owners. We would love to see pictures of your puppy as he grows, and we are always here if you have any questions or concerns about behavior, training, or any other aspect of collie ownership.
Puppy kindergarten is strongly recommended! It is a lot of fun and is a great way to socialize your puppy and get him started on the training necessary to be a good canine citizen.
