HEALTH:
1. This puppy has been inspected by a veterinarian prior to placement and was found to be in good health and is up to date on appropriate vaccinations and deworming, but it is the BUYER’s responsibility to take the animal for a complete physical examination by a qualified veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession. If the animal is found to be diagnosed with a hereditary/ congenital condition or diagnosed with any preventable disease that the puppy/adult has been vaccinated against, such as Parvo/Distemper within 72 hours of purchase, a report of the results is to be sent to the seller and the animal can be returned immediately at no expense to the breeder and a refund of the purchase price or provide a replacement puppy of equal value at breeders discretion, pending verification by the breeder’s veterinarian will be issued.
2. SELLER is not responsible for any veterinary expenses.
3. SELLER will not be responsible for illness or health problems, which are diagnosed after this time period except those conditions specified within this agreement.
4. SELLER shall not be held responsible for the development of disqualifying faults, diseases, or disorders, which are due to Buyers negligence.
HEREDITARY DISEASES:
1 SELLER warrantees the pup to be free of Hip Dysplasia, Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Von Willebrands disease (must be verified with Vetgen DNA test, and be affected and have active bleeding issues), wobblers syndrome, and progressive retinal atrophy to the age of 26 months. Should the dog develop one of the above hereditary conditions, upon written veterinary verification from two separate veterinarians (one of which must be a specialist), SELLER will refund one-third of the purchase price should the BUYER wish to keep the dog and have it spayed/neutered. If the Buyer does not wish to keep the dog, the dog will revert to the SELLER and be replaced by one of comparable value. The replacement time and selection will be the SELLERS choice.
2 If your Masaya Doberman develops a debilitating congenital health defect that dates from the prenatal or fetus stages with in one year of purchase, notify SELLER immediately. Upon written veterinary verification from two separate veterinarians (one of which must be a specialist if applicable), SELLER will refund one-third of the purchase price should the BUYER wish to keep the dog and have it spayed/neutered. If the Buyer does not wish to keep the dog, the dog will revert to the SELLER and be replaced by one of comparable value. The replacement time and selection will be the SELLERS choice.
3. No refund or replacement will be given in any case where a veterinarian determines that physical inattention, poor husbandry or lack of appropriate veterinary care contributed significantly to the problem for which the refund/replacement is being sought.
