I have had miniature schnauzers since the late 1960's. I have raised occasional litters during that time span. The past few years I have been striving to raise the quality level of schnauzers available in this area by breeding to AKC champions only . I was very pleased when the first such attempt resulted in an AKC champion being produced. My puppies are raised in my home. At this time I have 4 dogs, 2 spayed females(Mama Abby has now been spayed), Abby's AKC champion daughter (Hurd's Blythewood Faerie Queen) and her full blood brother from the 2nd litter(Hurd's Blythewood Near Perfect Picture). He is now an AKC Champion also.
The first pup of Queenie's first litter that was shown (Blythewood She's the Belle of the Ball),is now a champion, with 3 best of breeds to her credit! She lacks only one point of completing her Grand Championship. Her littermate(Von Ruhr's Blythe Faerie)is now also an AKC Champion,with a Best of Breed and group third to her credit. A male puppy from Mama Abby's third and final litter is now just starting his show career and so far has 7 points, including a major. My goal is to breed for conformation, temperament,and health.My dogs are all healthy and happy. All, including all puppies raised, are vet checked,dewormed , and receive immunizations and vet care as needed. I do not ship my puppies.
