At DGI Rottweilers we trive to breed only the best and to do that we use only the best. That is why you will find that we do not have a stud that we use continusly, we use the best dogs in the world to match our females in order to produce the best rottweilers. Conformation as well as work and temperament is something we put real enphasis on, and we invest as much as necessary to sire every litter by a German stud who has at least conquer the Klubsieger and International Champion (not an easy task for any dog). Nowadays the economy has taken many people to breed their dogs in order to make some money and they all claim "blocky heads", "german bloodline", "champion bloodline"!, and in 2 years the dog cant walk because of displacya.
The truth is all dogs have a champion in the bloodline...but how close? all rottweilers have family from Germany!...but how close? We breed because we love the breed and we can say we are proud of every single pup that comes out of our kennel, because we know we did the best we could to better the breed, we dont do this for money, we have jobs, this is what we like to do.
