Ravenhill Russells
Registration:
AKC UKC ARTC
Breeding the correct Russell terrier, they meet all of the AKC parent club standards and trace their linage back to the country of origin, England. All of my breeding/show dogs are screened using the BAER and CERF testing. The PLL (posterior lens luxation tests) is now available through the OFA site and is being done for all of my breeding dogs. A credible Parson/Russell terrier breeder will screen for thes hereditary problems, helping to eliminate this from our gene pool. These dogs not only have the correct conformation (50/50 depth of body/legs, longer than tall, correct bite, leg and body type, proper white ratio, etc), but I have bred to retain the true terrier attitude and hunting ability, they are true athletes. They are not aggressive, are intelligent and easy to train and love to sit in your lap or snuggle next to you in bed. People marvel at their tractable easy going temperments, and delight watching them chase lures and each other on the property. They are truely a versitle dog, as a family member and a companion dog.
