Sales Agreement
The following agreement is between ----------Becky S. Holleman----------------- (breeder), hereafter referred to as "Seller”, and __________________________ hereafter referred to as "Purchaser".
In consideration of the purchase of one ____________________ Havanese Puppy. Sale price of $_______.00. The Seller transfers all rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the puppy of the – Havanese Breed - to Purchaser as of the date and time specified below. AKC Registration application will also be given to Purchaser.
Seller has had said puppy vaccinated and wormed against diseases that would compromise the health of the puppy. Dates shown in Medical records. Purchaser must have said puppy examined by a certified Veterinarian within 4 days of receiving puppy or contract is null and void. Seller will not be responsible for accidents to the puppy once it has been given to the purchaser and/or has left my care to travel. Puppy was checked and was released in good health as stated by the examination by Sellers Veterinarian.
Pet puppies are not to be bred and must be spayed or neutered by one year of age. Show puppies are in no way guaranteed to win in the show ring, but they should – with proper care on the part of the buyer – exemplify the breed standard.
Examination Date, ________ by: Dr. Randall or Dr. Garren, Veterinarians at the Riverbank Animal Hospital in Kinston, North Carolina.
The puppy comes to the purchaser with a ---TWO--- year guarantee against any congenital life threatening disease. If within two years a life threatening congenital disease is suspected, Purchaser will obtain medical documentation from a qualified Veterinarian who has done the proper evaluation at purchasers expense, and send the medical documentation to sellers Veterinarian. The seller reserves the right to have the same tests done at seller’s expense. If it is determined that said puppy has a life threatening congenital disease the purchaser has the right to return said puppy (at his/her expense, and receive another puppy of same value and sex, delivered to Purchaser at sellers expense), as soon as one becomes available or a refund.
Any legal proceedings occurring from this transaction will be held in Lenoir County, Kinston, NC. Seller will not be responsible for any legal fees of the purchaser.
