Here we have included a partial listing of the terms contained in our pet/companion puppy contract. A complete contract will be sent via email when appropriate.
Buyer(s) agree to the following:
1) To have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of receipt.
2} That the puppy will live in your home, and to provide adequate measures to ensure this dog's safety at all times. Buyer agrees this puppy/dog shall never be chained, continuously tied, nor allowed to roam at large.
3) BREEDER cannot be held responsible for the illness, death, injury, deformity, or temperament of said puppy due to illness, negligence, accident, or deviation from adequate care herein stated, or due to lack of proper socialization required for a Chihuahua.
4) Understands that this puppy is sold with AKC limited registration, and that the puppy is not to be bred. Nor is this puppy to be registered by any other kennel club as a means to try to violate this "no breeding" contract. The puppy's AKC limited registration papers will be held by BREEDER until receipt of proof of spay/neuter.
5) The BUYER agrees that neither he/she nor the BUYER'S estate/executors may sell this PUPPY,transfer ownership of this PUPPY, or surrender to a rescue or shelter without the BREEDER'S knowledge and WRITTEN CONSENT. The BUYER hereby agrees that if at any time the BUYER cannot take proper care of the puppy, the BUYER or the BUYER'S Estate/Executors must contact the BREEDER and the BREEDER will have the first choice to either: (a) take the PUPPY back or (b) assist the BUYER in finding a suitable home for the PUPPY.
