VanGogh Yorkies
We are on a roll - only after 4 years of returning to the show ring we now have 3 champions and another (our own breeding) pointed and on her way!
My own homebred girl: Cha-Cha - took Winners and BOS on May 8, 2010. Recently now (Sept. 2010) with our handler she has won the following in just three weeks: Reserves, Winners, Reserves, Best of Breed - twice same weekend, and at the Dallas Specialty show she won 1st in Open Class and the next day Reserves. We are very pleased with her performance. She is now pointed and hope she will finish quickly to return home soon.
Our male, Ch. Prize - took Reserves first time out with handler at the Watchung Mountains YT Club Specialty Show in NJ. He then took 1st/BOS at various shows and then took back to back majors/BOS at the Greenville, SC show to finish.
Ch. Easy - Won WB at the Oklahoma City, OK Specialty Show and finished her championship winning WB/BOW at the Bluebonnet Specialty, in TX. finishing with an extra major! ** Winnng at a Specialty show is very important since competition is very tough!**
Ch. Gi - finished in just 3 weekends of showing with an extra major. She has the quality and personality that Wowed them at the shows.
We believe in showing to prove how sound our dogs are. There are also local shows - that make it easy to get to the shows. If one is breeding - one should be showing in AKC shows.
