Below is the list of items in my contract for "pet" puppies.
A complete contract will be sent via email when appropriate.
NEW OWNER(S) AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Puppy will be vet checked within 72 hours by a licensed/accredited veterinarian.
2. Puppy will be kept in the home with the new owners, not housed outdoors.
3. If within 30 days you find that your new pup is not working in your home, breeder reserves the right to
have first chance to purchase puppy back should the puppy not work for your situation. Under these circumstances, the new owner agrees to pay all costs associated with returning the puppy.
4. A puppy sold as a pet/companion will NEVER be used for breeding and will be spayed or neutered
by one year of age unless signed consent from breeder is issued. A copy of the spay/neuter
certificate will be sent to the breeder as proof of spay/neuter. At which time the AKC papers will be mailed to the new owner.
5. This puppy is not to be registered by any other kennel club as a means to try to violate this "no
breeding" contract.
6. All puppies are sold "as is" and sales are final with the exception of the health guarantee listed.
7. In the event the new owner determines they cannot keep the puppy, it is agreed that the puppy will be
returned to the breeder, and NEVER, under any circumstances, will the pup be sold for breeding or
surrendered to an animal shelter.
