World of Wonder Alaskan Klee Kai
This is a summary of the main points of our contract:
Pet Quality puppies:
must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age. We will hold the puppy's registration papers until that time.
Show/Breed Quality puppies: Must pass a Breeding Quality exam at 1 year of age which includes OFA testing for Patella Luxation, Cardiac, and Thyroid (testing done through Jean Dodds), full blood work. The dog must be found by us to not have any disqualifications according to the breed standard. Either we will have to see a range of pictures of the dog, have another breeder examine it, or we will considered it passed if it attains a Champion title in UKC conformation or ARBA.
Puppies that do not pass the BQE can either be returned and replaced with another show/breed quality hopeful or must be spayed/neutered.
At the time of passing the BQE or being altered registrations will be turned over to the new owner.
Our dogs can only be breed to other Alaskan Klee Kai. Any breeding with another breed would be considered breach of contract and the Alaskan Klee Kai would be returned to us and the monies forfeit.
Offspring must be placed on a contract similar to ours and cannot be sold to pet stores, puppy brokers, labs, or anything other than a loving home.
Both:
In the event that an owner can no longer kept a dog from us we require that it be returned. Our puppies are not for resale. If we are able to rehome the puppy the funds from its sale will be sent to the previous owner.
