It is my goal and mission to produce not only healthy but exceptionally beautiful puppies. All dogs are house raised as members of my family; none are kenneled. I am a Code of Ethics Breeder with USACTC (United States of America Coton de Tulear Club), and NACA (North American Coton Association), and a member of ACC (American Coton Club). I am the Chairman of the Health Committee, USACTC, dedicated to health, genetics, and soundness of the breed. All dogs are DNA genetically tested for NCA (Neonatal Cerebellar Atoxia) and DM (Degenerative Myelopathy). See caninegenticdiseases.net out of the Vet College at UofMO. All health testing is public record on OFFA.org - Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. I feed holistically plus a raw food diet (BARF). Dogs are well socialized and spoiled along with my standard poodle. I am dedicated to placing very special dogs with loving owners. I am very proud of my wonderful cotons and my fellow breeders where my "children" originated from. Championship bloodlines are specifically listed on my website, cattailcotons.com, both USA and European. Additionally, I volunteer with our county Pet Assisted Therapy through Therapy Dogs, Inc, in nursing homes and rehab centers. Also, I have 2 therapy dogs certified as R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assitance Dogs) in an elementary school where we help children who are reading below grade level. The coton is truly a companion dog that is well able to hold down many "jobs" skillfully. Time to go run and play.
