I have owned and loved Briards since 1981. My first Briard was a badly bred, poorly raised, sad example of the breed, and I loved her dearly. I didn't know enough about the breed to find a good breeder. My website www.Briard.com is devoted to helping those looking for a Briard to learn about the breed first, and then to help find the right Briard for them.
In my breeding program, I breed for temperament, health, and type. I enjoy showing in conformation, and watching dogs I have produced excel in performance events. But, a pet home is as important as a show home to me. Briards are companions first, family members always. I strive to match the right puppy to the right home. I stand behind the health and temperament of my dogs, and sell only to carefully screened homes. I breed about two litters a year, raised in my bedroom and living room, and believe in socializing pups heavily before they leave my home. I ask buyers to keep in touch, and a puppy born in my home is my responsibility for life.
