All shih tzus at 3 months and yearly are tested for Thyroid, full blood panels which test the Creatin, bun, white and red cell counts, liver and kidney function. Also, everyone goes to a registered Canine Eye doctor with Ames University Vet College. Cerf papers are obtained.
