I am an American Coton Club Code of Ethics breeder located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It is important that my Cotons are allowed to be dogs and are able to take advantage of the rocky mountain splendor by playing outside even if it means some dirt and leaves cling to their coats.
The health and happiness of my Cotons and their offspring are my only concern.
My Cotons are always with me, live in the house, sleep in my bedroom and are regular members of the family. They like to participate in all my actvities and love going places where ever that might be. Some of the Cotons are training in agility and just love it.
When I decided to breed Cotons I wanted to make sure I found healthy and happy Coton puppies from some of the leading Coton breeders in the world.
I serve as co-chair of the health committee of the ACC and all Cotons have been health tested for genetic diseases.
I show my Cotons and my main male stud has received his USA and International championship.
I do have an extensive questionnaire that enables me to place an Old Snowmass Coton puppy in the best home possible. I get to know prospective families well so that they are assured of getting the best puppy for their lifestyle and desires. Old Snowmass Coton puppies go to their forever homes at 9-10 weeks of age. They come with a spay/neuter contract with a health guarantee. Each puppy goes home with a puppy packet stuffed full of toys, grooming tools, treats, food, bowls, leash/collar, puppy manual and more goodies. My only goal in breeding is to find the family each puppy is meant to love and care for their entire life. When a puppy finds their forever family it's a magical loving connection. It's just the best feeling to be able to bring the love and joy of a Coton de Tulear to someone or an entire family.
