My entire family is involved with, and loves being owned by our Chinese Cresteds. The 4 legged kids are not just our show dogs, but our bed warmers, and best friends. We put emphasis on ALL aspects of the dog when considering a breeding, temperament, health, conformation, coat, movement, and last, but not least, intelligence. An intelligent, healthy, personable dog is a joy to live with long after their show career is over! The majority of our dogs are on the small side, and we do occasionally have "tinies", which are pups that will mature in the range of 4-6 pounds. The tiny babies are ONLY available to pet homes, on spay neuter contracts, no exceptions. Most of our show prospect puppies are also available to good pet homes, at a lower price for those that just want a new queen or king of their couch that will be spayed/neutered. I'm a firm believer that most pet homes offer a much better quality of life than most show homes. I'm a member of the American Chinese Crested Club, and the Tarheel Chinese Crested Club. We do have rescues available occasionally.
Stud service to outside girls is not normally available, although if you have a quality, health tested girl, feel free to ask.
All puppies, whether they're staying here at our house, or sold to an outside home are vet checked healthy before leaving here. ALL of our dogs are cleared by dna for; prcd, vwd, thyroid. All of our adult dogs are patellar and cardiac normal, any dogs that are being bred that year are CERF tested, and can be viewed on offa.org, and/or http://crestedhealth.ourdogs.net/kennel.php?alpha=D
The five dogs that we currently have that have been BAER tested are also bilaterally normal. Our breeding dogs have NO ALLERGIES! I've always been a firm believer in the theory that allergies are for the most part genetically related, and a sign of immuno-deficient dogs.
Any puppy bred by Diva Cresteds comes with a written health guarantee that covers any and all genetic maladies for a period of 3 years.
