All puppies must be registered with my kennel name BStar at the front of their
name. Please respect me and my breeding program by complying.
Buyer understands that the deposit, and all monies paid are NON-REFUNDABLE
& NON-TRANSFERABLE, unless something happens to the puppy in my care.
I do not guarantee that this puppy is anything but “Pet Quality”. No
guarantee is made as to BITE, TEETH, TRACHEA, HERNIAS, PATELLAR
LULATION, SIZE, COLOR, COAT, OR BREED ABILITY OF THIS PUPPY.
At time of sale, seller states that this puppy is healthy to the best of his knowledge. Once
the puppy leaves the seller’s premises, the puppy is under buyer’s control, and the puppy
is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Notice of any problem with this puppy must be
received within 24 hours under the terms and conditions listed below:
Buyer agrees to have puppy examined by a currently practicing, reputable Veterinarian
within three business days from the time of purchase (buyer will be responsible for this
examination and any other charges incurred from this examination). If this Veterinarian
determines that there is a major problem (excluding internal and external parasites, i.e.
Coccidiosis, Giardia) then a 100% refund will be given, provided the seller is contacted
immediately (within 24 hours) after the exam and this puppy is promptly returned to the
Seller with the Original Registration. If the puppy is to be returned to the seller, traveling
expenses or shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer and no reimbursement will be expected from the seller.
If anytime during the first year of life your puppy is found to have a life threatening
congenital disorder a replacement puppy (less any shipping and veterinarian charges)
will be provided of equal value once puppy is returned to us and ONLY IF PUPPY HAS
NOT BEEN BRED. A written statement from a licensed veterinarian will be required
if a life threatening genetic defect is found. The seller is entitled to take the dog to a
veterinarian of choice for a second opinion. If the dog dies in the care of the buyer, a
necropsy report determining the cause of death will be required. Any registration papers
must be signed with a transfer back to us at that time. AGAIN, VET AND SHIPPING
EXPENSES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER!! Your puppy’s parents
have passed their health tests and I do not anticipate any abnormal, genetic, or breed
related health problems to arise in the future. But as with people, health conditions do
occasionally surface and I am not responsible for any unseen problems.
Puppy is guaranteed for 48 hours from date and time of purchase against infectious
diseases such as Parvo*, Corona, and Distemper as long as all terms of this contract
have been followed. *The puppy has some immunity from the Parvo disease from the
mother and if the puppy has had a vaccination for Parvo, it also has some immunity.
But, because Parvo is such a contagious disease, and the puppy can be exposed to it
in any public place or even on your own property without you even knowing it, it is
extremely important that you watch your puppy and be extremely cautious where you
allow your puppy to go or who touches your puppy until it is completely safe from
the Parvo virus. Do not take your new puppy to pet stores, public parks,or let your new puppy walk on the floor at your veterinarian’s office.
PICK UP POLICY: If a deposit has been made on a puppy to hold until old enough to
leave it’s mother or for another reason agreed upon by seller and buyer, the buyer will
make arrangements to pick up the puppy when the puppy turns eight weeks or boarding
charges will be added to the total of the bill at a cost of $3.00 per night and any other
charges incurred for the puppy (vaccinations, veterinary care, deworming, etc.) will be
charged to the buyers bill and will need to be paid in full before the puppy can be picked
up by the buyer. If the puppy is not picked up within two weeks of the agreed upon
date and time, seller has the right to sell the puppy to another party and buyer forfeits all
rights to the puppy. If the puppy is to be shipped, buyer agrees to have the balance of the
puppy, as well as shipping, paid in full by the time the puppy reaches eight weeks of age.
If the balance is not received and no other payment arrangements were made in advance,
buyer forfeits any payments made on the puppy and seller has the right to sell the puppy
to another party. If the puppy dies or becomes unfit for sale before the puppy is ready to
be picked up, a refund will be granted.
RE-HOME POLICY: Very rarely circumstances are such that a puppy does not work out in its
new home. Or maybe later on circumstances arise where the person can no longer care for their
adult dog. In these or other similar situations we are happy to take the puppy or adult dog back
until a new home can be found, but we do not offer exchanges or refunds, so please give serious thought to your decision to purchase.
AKC Registration
__ A. Limited Registration or No Papers Puppy will be sold as a “pet” on limited AKC
registration. This means the puppy sold can be AKC registered, but not to be used in any type
of breeding program. The chihuahua will need to be spayed or neutered by seven months of age.
Limited is being given due to very small umbilical hernia.
___ B. Full Registration The puppy seems to be of breeding/show quality at the time of
purchase. However, different things cay happen as the puppy grows that would disqualify it
for breeding/show purposes. The breeder does not guarantee that the pup purchased will be
successful in a breeding/show program. Full registration gives the buyer the right to breed and
show the puppy purchased when it would become of age. The breeder highly recommends the
puppy be examined by a veterinarian at breeding age to be assured the dog would be a good
candidate to whelp or sire puppies.
There are no other guarantees/warranties given, expressed or written, other than those stated in
the above contract. Any changes must be made on paper, and signed by both parties. In the event of
litigation, with this guarantee, buyer agrees to have litigation in seller’s county.
