Ice Age Alaskan Malamutes are bred for Health, temperament, structure and breed type. We are blending top show lines from the US and Europe to improve on health as well as structure, movement and temperament! We stand behind our dogs 100%
We are currently doing health checks on Hips and Elbows, X-Rays are sent into the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for evaluation. We have eyes checked (CERF) yearly by a board certified, veterinary ophthalmologists. We started doing Cardio checks in early 2007 and now all the dogs in our breeding program have their cardio clearance done yearly by a board certified Cardiologist. In early 2008 we started doing Thyroid checks and now all of the dogs in our breeding program have their Thyroid clearances, blood samples are sent into an OFA approved laboratory for testing. All our dogs are micro-chipped, we also have AKC DNA Profiles done on all dogs in our breeding program.
We currently train and/or show in conformation, obedience and agility, the last 15yrs has been dedicated to the Alaskan Malamute. Members of the AMCA and Peoria Obedience Training Club.
Puppies bred for Health and temperament, to the AKC breed standard. For show/work/family companions. Pets Limited AKC Reg. spay/neuter - Health/Care contract. We breed on a limited basis and make our breeding selection based off of structure, movement, breed type, temperament and overall good health! We go out of our way to prove that our dogs are of the highest quality and health before we produce the next generation!
