Sales Agreement and Health guarantee
The following agreement is between ____________________(The breeder), hereafter referred to as the “Seller” and _____________________, hereafter referred to as the “Buyer”
In consideration of a purchase price of $____________, of which, $___________is a non refundable deposit, the seller transfers all rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the ___________ dog of the Boxer breed to the purchaser as of the date and time specified below.
The seller guarantees the dog specified above to be free of the following conditions for a period of 1 year:
Life threatening heart defects
Hip dysplasia.
In the event of the emergence of either of the above listed conditions, the seller agrees to replace the dog with one of equal quality from the next litter bred by the seller, provided the purchaser has two qualified veterinarians, at least one of whom was selected by the seller, who agree that the dogs condition is life threatening or crippling and warrants euthanization.
The purchaser agrees that if at any time they find themselves considering surrendering the above listed dog to a shelter or rescue mission, they will inform the breeder, who will be given the opportunity to pick up the dog and place it into a new home.
Local Sales-The purchaser has the right to return the dog to the seller within 24 hrs of the date and time of signature of this agreement for a credit in the amount of the purchase price toward the acquisition of another animal from the seller or a refund of the purchase price, less the non refundable surety of action deposit. Local is defined as being within 2 hours by car, between the seller and purchasers residences.
Long Distance Sales- The purchaser has the right to return the dog to the seller within 4 days of the date and time of signature of this agreement for a credit in the amount of the purchase price toward the acquisition of another animal from the seller or a refund of the purchase price, less the non refundable surety of action deposit. Long distance is defined as being more than 2 hours by car, between the seller and purchasers residences.
We the undersigned have read, understood and agree with the terms of this contract.
