Hello there & thank you for taking the time to click on us,we appreciate that!We are considered a "HOBBY" breeder,our basset hound babies are born & raised in our home.We do not have as many litters as most breeders,we actually strive to only offer a litter every other year or @ the most once a year(we do not allow our dam to breed every heat cycle),inorder to not over breed our little lady,which by the way the beautiful lady we are owned by is named Hemi,we call her Sissy,she is an Akc registered lemon & white basset hound,the handsome male we are owned by is named Mopar,we call him Moe or Moe~Moe(yes we are Dodge fans,lol),he is an Akc registered tri basset hound.Inorder to add one of Mopar & Hemi's Akc Basset Hound babies to your family & home,we require you to come out,pick the baby of your choice,apply a non-refundable $50 deposit,& sign a basic puppy contract.Once the pup you picked has reached 8 weeks of age you are more than welcome to come & pick him/her up,that is after you have paid the remaining balance on him/her,which a pup with full/open Akc registration will have a remaining balance due of $350.00 & a pup with limited Akc registration will have a remaining balance due of $300.00,(NOTE:WE DO NOT LIKE LETTING OUR FEMALE PUPS GO WITH FULL/OPEN AKC REGISTRATION,DUE TO THEM BEING PRONE TO BREEDING WITH ANYTHING & EVERYTHING,LOL)!A basset hound baby from Virgin's Basset Hound's will come to you having already recieved 3/4 treatments or doses of wormings(our vet uses Stongid-T),their first fort dodge puppy shot(if you leave the pup in our care until 9 weeks of age the pup will then come to you with their first 2 shots),their ears cleaned,their nails trimmed,a spray treament of Frontline,a basic puppy contract,a basic puppy packet which will include the pups health records & the pups breed specific information,an Akc application inorder for you to register the pup(which once the litter is born the litter as a whole is register through Akc to us as breeders),a trial size bag of puppy food,a blanket,a chew toy,a collar,a leash & whatever else we feel like adding to it(lol)!
