In Dec. 2007 we had two litters Collie pups- All 13 were Normal on their eye checks!!!
Two pups are left of Klaryon and Chip's pups who were born Dec.29,2007 and were 4 months old on April 26th. Toffee ,a sable-merle, is available for $600 + $60 crate fee & transportation costs with limited AKC registration, spay/neuter contract. Cocoa is available for reduced price of $400 with neuter contract and limited AKC Registration. (+ $60 crate fee and transportation costs).He had a couple seizures of unknown origin earlier but has had none since March 1 and has a small tear on right ear.) Papa Chip, a sable-merle, is a non-carrier for Collie eye Anomaly . Mama Klaryon is a pure for sable and normal-eyed.
Maggie and Dusky's litter, born Dec.22,07 , are all sold , except we are keeping Sienna. He had his optigen test and is a non-carrier of the CEA . Maggie is a Non-Carrier for Collie Eye Anomaly. Dusky is Normal-eyed and White-factored.
We raise quality AKC registered rough Collies - breeding for good eyes and temperament. All our parents are normal-eyed. (Chip and Maggie are non-carriers). Only pups with normal eyes are available for breeding or show homes. Our pups are socialized with adults, children and animals on our SE Iowa 8 1/2 acre farm. Our adult dogs are not confined to kennels, but roam our yard and fields and are welcome in our home. We produce approximately three litters yearly.
