I am proud to announce that in March of 2011, I received the honor of getting the A.K.C. Breeder of Merit Award! You can go to the American Kennel Club's site and see the requirements to get this award. I have great pyrenees that are primarily house pets. I do show my dogs in conformation. I have been showing and breeding great pyrenees for 22 years and six generations.I had my first pyrenees in the early 1970's. At that time, I was still in school and the pyrenees was my mothers dog. When I got married and had children, I decided to get my first pyrenees and start showing. Her name was Haley and that is where I got my kennel name Yelah, it's Haley spelled backwards. That way Haley is in all my pyrenees I own.
I have been a member of the Great Pyrenees Club Of America for 19 years. I am also a member of the Heart Of Ohio Great Pyrenees Club. My puppies are raised in the house with the family. I have won specialty winners dog , best veteran in sweepstakes at a regional specialty, and best puppy in sweeps at a regional specialty. One of the dogs I bred is currently active doing therapy dog work. The first pyrenees I owned in 1988 had parents that were OFA clear for hip dysplasia and every dog I have bred since then has been. Now I do CHIC certifications which are more required health testing. The litter of puppies that I had born in Jan. of last year are already in their forever homes. I do plan on having another litter of puppies later this fall . I just finished Blaze's championship in July. He is my 6th generation of champions. Please email me for any further inquires about my next litter.
