Housecarl Mastiffs takes its name from the English and Scandinavian warriors of the Heroic Age, known as Housecarls, who demonstrated bravery, courage and loyalty to their Lords,
which has not been seen since these heroes of legend walked the Earth. Housecarl Mastiffs breeds puppies with health and temperament foremost in mind. We will not sacrifice temperament, health or genetic diversity of our pups simply to achieve breed standards. Our puppies are AKC registered and come from champion stock and have excellent confirmation. The co-founder of Housecarl Mastiffs is a Biologist and studied advanced genetics.
Genetic diversity is achieved by insuring that our dam and sire are descended from separate quality lines. We have bred Mastiffs exclusively for many years. We are not a puppy mill and do not condone puppy mill practices. We limit the number of litters. Our dogs are family and like the Housecarls of old are unsurpassed in gentle courage and loyalty.
