Lamar's Doghouse proudly raise and shows smooth and long coat Chihuahuas. Lamars is a family affair with 2 sisters (Gayle and Ivy in the Midwest) and Lari (Gayle's daughter in Montana). We all have our own chihuahuas but on the web site they are all on the same pages. We have tried to put the contact person under each dog's name but if we get an inquiry we talk among ourselves and try to find you the best fit for you.
We try to breed our dogs to conform to the AKC Standard are striving to produce the best possible show prospects for us as well as outstanding pets with temperaments and personalities that make them a joy to live with. We don't often get tinies or 'so called teacups' (of which there is really no such thing), but on occasion we will get a puppy on the smaller side. Watch the web site for availability of puppies and young adults. Occasionally we will retire one of our brood bitches and place her already spayed for a cost to cover the spay. These make excellent pets for many years to come for you.
We continue to have success in the show ring with 15 champions so far. We breed on a limited basis having only a few litters each year between the three of us. Contact us for your next beautiful Chi.
